1. Who can use Rig
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your sign-in safe, and for what happens under it. Tell us right away at contact@userig.xyz if you think someone else is using it.
2. Rig is in beta
Rig is early software. Features change, some will be removed, and things will sometimes break. Keep your own copies of anything important. Your spaces live as files on your computer as well as on our servers, which helps, but it is not a backup service.
3. Your content
You keep all rights to the files, messages and other things you or your agents put into Rig, “your content”. You give us permission to store, copy, process, display and send your content only as needed to run Rig for you and the people you share it with, including through the AI features and providers described in our Privacy Policy. This permission ends when your content is deleted from Rig, except for copies other members of a space still rely on, as the Privacy Policy explains.
You confirm you have the right to put your content into Rig and to share it with the people you invite.
4. Spaces and the people in them
A space is shared with everyone you or other members invite, and with anyone who has a link you share. Choose who you invite with care. The owner of a space decides who can join it and can remove it. When you leave a space, what you added stays with it.
5. Agents and AI
Agents such as Claude Code and Codex run on your computer under your own accounts with their providers, and those providers’ terms apply to them. You decide what your agents may do, including what they may change without asking you first, and you are responsible for the actions you allow. Messages from other people in a space can ask your agent to do things: only let agents act without asking in spaces with people you trust.
AI output, from your agents or from Rig’s own summaries, topics and routing, can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check it before you rely on it.
6. Using Rig responsibly
You agree not to use Rig to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights, including their privacy or intellectual property;
- share malware, or try to get into accounts, spaces or systems you aren’t allowed into;
- harass, threaten or deceive people, or send spam, including invites to people who didn’t ask for them;
- put other people’s agents up to harmful actions through messages, files or links;
- overload, probe or get around the limits and security of Rig, or copy Rig to build a competing service;
- break the terms of the AI providers and other services you connect.
7. Other services
Rig works with services we don’t control, such as AI providers, tools you connect and websites you open beside your chat. Your use of them is governed by their own terms, and we aren’t responsible for them.
8. Price
Rig is free while it is in beta. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you before they apply to you, and you can choose whether to continue.
9. Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
10. Ending this agreement
You can stop using Rig at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we must by law, or if we stop offering Rig. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first and give you time to take your content out.
11. No warranty
Rig is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that Rig will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose, or that content will never be lost.
12. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, Rig Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about Rig is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
13. Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the law allows.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Rig after that, the new terms apply.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at contact@userig.xyz so we can try to resolve it informally. If we can’t resolve it within 30 days, it will be decided by the state or federal courts in Delaware, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
16. Everything else
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Rig. If part of them can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part isn’t giving it up. You can’t transfer these terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a sale or merger of Rig Labs.
